Jennifer Rene Psaki
Jennifer Rene Psaki was an American political advisor who served as the 34th White House press Secretary between 2021 and 2022. She is a member of the Democratic Party and previously served as the White House deputy Press Secretary (2009), the White House deputy Communications Director (2009-2011), the spokesperson for the US Department of State (2013-15) and the White House communications direct (2015-17). Psaki was a contributor to political campaigns to CNN from 2017 through 2020. Psaki started her professional career with an Iowa Democratic senator, Tom Harkin, and later became governor of Iowa. Psaki then became deputy press secretary for John Kerry's 2004 presidential campaign. From 2005 until the year 2006, Psaki served as communications director for U.S. representative Joseph Crowley and regional press secretary for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. In 2012, Psaki returned to political communications as the press secretary for the Obama reelection campaign in 2012. 20 years ago, Psaki was appointed as spokesperson for the United States Department of State on February 11 13. [20] There was speculation that Psaki would succeed Jay Carney, White House Press Secretary at the Department of State.[21However, Josh Earnest replaced Carney on May 30 in 2014. She returned to White House in 2015 to become the communications director. She remained with the Obama administration until the end of its term.
