Krystal Marie Ball
Krystal Marie Balm (born November 24, 1980) is an American journalist and political commentator. She was a former politician, as well as a TV host on MSNBC, a frequent contributor to The Huffington Post, and the co-host of The Hill's Rising alongside Saagar Enjeti. Enjeti and Ball made it clear in the month of May that they'd quit the show in order to launch their own show, Breaking Points with Krystal and Saagar. Ball hosts the podcast Krystal Kyle & Friends with Kyle Kulinski. Her guest appearances on the show include Fox News, CNN and Fox News. Ball was married to Jonathan Dariyanani in 2020. Ball attributes her further fascination with politics due to her experience as a new mother during the 2008 primaries and also watching the results of the 2008 US presidential election while working in Jordan. She was able to observe how the outcome affected people in the country and became aware of the global impact US politics have on the lives of everyone around the globe. She was a senior Fellow of the New Leaders Council. Ball was the Democratic Party candidate for Congress in Virginia's 1st district. She lost to Rob Wittman in 2010. She hosted The Cycle on MSNBC from June 2012 until July 2015. She was co-hosting The Cycle, a show on MSNBC, from June 2012 until July 2015.
