Lara Logan
Lara Logan, born 29/03/71 was a South African television journalist and war reporter. She was a CBS News reporter from 2002 until 2018.60 Minutes' executive producers Jeff Fager and Lara Logan called her factually inaccurate and biased coverage of the 2012 Benghazi attacks "the biggest error I've made in my 10-year watching." In 2019 she joined the Sinclair Broadcast Group, a conservative media firm. [4] On January 2020, she was a part of Fox Nation. Fox News operates a subscription streaming site. In March 2022 that she'd been "dumped". Logan worked during her studies as a reporter at the Sunday Tribune, Durban (1988-1989), then the Daily News (1990-1992). In 1992 she joined Reuters Television Africa as a senior production producer. After four years, she ventured out into freelance journalism, obtaining reports as a reporter and editor/producer at ITN as well as Fox/SKY, CBS News, ABC News (in London), NBC, and the European Broadcasting Union. CNN employed her to write on events such as the 1998 United States Embassy bombings in Nairobi, Tanzania and the conflict in Northern Ireland.
